Glenn Fricke and Shelby Ballow are a recent match, but the two of a kind has had instant success with Glenn's old school experience, & Shelby's energetic and creative style. Every morning, they meet to discuss current jobs and upcoming bids; this ensures that nothing falls through the cracks. Glenn has 25 years in the T.I. industry. This duo always manages to have fun and laughter is often heard coming from this office.

Jim is our lead brand ambassador with 30 years of
industry knowledge . He is Dowling Construction's original Project Manager. Wanda's bubbly personality and notable customer service set a high standard for Dowling. Together they care for our long-time, one-time, new and future clients.
MEET THE SUPERS!
Dowling's Superintendents have over 80 years combined construction experience ranging from commercial T.I's to ground up construction. Our supers will coordinate with our Project Teams to keep jobs running smoothly, on schedule and efficiently. They are responsible for the day-to-day operations of your project, site maintenance, communication with the subcontractors and using their most important tool; customer service.
Gayle Johnson, CFO and Cynthia Bustamante comprise our phenomenal Accounting/Admin team and are often behind the scenes. Gayle has been with Dowling Construction since it's inception & worn every administrative hat. Gayle and Cynthia have implemented the foundation for Dowling's procedures, like a well-oiled machine. Cynthia has been working by her side for 11 years and bringing Dowling's processes to the next level. Kelli Sanchez is not only the friendly face at the front desk and lovely voice on the phone, but she assists every team member in our office.
Getting to know us...
When we opened our doors for business in 1998, we were the "small contractor." We had 3 employees and managed to borrow a slice of office space from a generous friend. Today, we have 40+employees and our own 6000sf office. We still don't see ourselves as the big contractor but we also are not small either. Some have called us a "boutique contractor." We take that as a compliment! We treasure our relationships with each of our customers, big or small, and continue to rely on word of mouth referrals and repeat business. Our size provides us the freedom to adapt quickly and create any solution needed for you; our customers. We don't just build walls, we build trust with every customer, one square foot at time.
The Man Behind the Name...
Jim Dowling founded Dowling Construction in 1998 fulfilling the American dream of being a business owner. His experience in the last 30 years ranges from cabinet making to property management and, of course, 20 years in tenant improvements. Dowling Construction's success is rooted in Jim's team-work philosophy and hard work ethic he learned growing up on a farm in rural Vermont. The superior treatment Jim shows to his employees is reflected in the dedication and quality of work his employees put out each day. Every person is on a mission to do things the "Dowling Way" resulting in phenomenal customer service. Jim's unique combination of field AND property management experience have molded Dowling Construction, Inc. into a well-rounded, balanced company specializing in T.I's.
